What about a Fox Trot?
Fox Trots are a Great Choice, with lots of Wonderful Music to choose from, that is often more up-beat than a Waltz or Ballad.
When considering a Fox Trot,
You have at
months before your Wedding
The Bride's Gown should NOT be dragging on the ground. It is best if there is at least 1/2 inch between the the gown and the floor.
The Dance Floor at your Reception Hall should be big enough to show this off (at least 24' x 24 or 16' by 24', bigger is even better)
Important Note: In order to Dance a Fox Trot, you must choose Fox Trot Music!
Fox Trots are in 4/4 time and can range in tempo from 100-152 beats (or 25-38 measures) per minute.
Here are some examples of great Fox Trot music that I have choreographed for Wedding Couples:
The Way You Look Tonight
It Had to Be You
Hooray for Love
Can I Steel a Little Love
and many, many others.
There certainly are plenty of great songs to choose from, and most tend to be lighthearted and happy. Many songs jump up into a little jazzy Swing section on the refrain, and if couples want to add some swing dancing at this time, that always adds fun and surprising twist
My time for these private coaching packages is by advance appointment only, and there are weeks where I am completely booked. I also can only take a certain amount of couples each month, so please don't wait t'ill the last minute to call me!
